Building on the first IFOAM conference of this kind in the USA in 2006, the 2nd IFOAM Organic Animal Husbandry Conference, taking place in Hamburg on September 12-14, 2012, will present the latest research, marketing trends and innovations in organic livestock systems and explore the future challenges of animal husbandry, e.g. climate change, food security, and animal welfare.
The conference participants will be part of an international event, that includes a range of presentations, indoor and outdoor workshops covering a variety of topics and animal species, as well as field trips.
